
Colleen Mae Balinger was born November 21st on the 21st of November in 1986. Her most well-known work is her Internet Miranda Sings character posting videos of the character on YouTube, performing her one-woman comedy show at theatres around the world, and performing in the Netflix original series called Haters Back Off (2016-2017) about the character. Ballinger developed the comically gifted, egotistical, and bizarre character to mock the many YouTube videos of people who sing poorly, in hopes of getting into showbiz. Together her channels on YouTube have received over 5 billion viewers. Miranda Sings has over 10 million subscribers and 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger has won the Teen Choice Award in "Web Star: Humor" and a Streamy Award in Best Actress. 4. She was named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and she was ranked No. 5 on Forbes magazine's 2017 list of the top influencers in entertainment. Ballinger has performed as an actor and a singer on film, television recordings, television and online series. She appeared on the web-based series Escape the Night (2018-2019), played Dawn in the Broadway musical Waitress (2019) She also appeared as a guest on Miranda Sings in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld (2014), and she has appeared three times on The Tonight Show (2016-2017) as well as other talk shows. Ballinger has also published two best-selling books, that were written by Miranda's voice, Selp-Helf (2015) and My Diarrhe (2018). Erik Stocklin is her husband. Ballinger relocated to New York City in 2010 to pursue opportunities for performing however she went back to the West coast in 2012 when she realized that to maximize her YouTube audience, she had to collaborate with the community of YouTubers based in Los Angeles. After a number of years of relationship, Ballinger married Joshua Evans in California in July 2015. In September 2016, Ballinger and Evans announced in separate YouTube videos that they were divorcing.
