Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright and educator for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, as is her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna moved out of Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in the year 2009.
