Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for several years. Elson began her career on television as a child model and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS the science-fiction series. Andrea was chosen to play Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986), after auditioning. She continued to work for a long time on different hit TV shows and Movies of the Week before leaving the entertainment business in order to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner - the teenager daughter of Kate and Willie - at a time that she was going through a difficult time. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of an audience that viewed sitcoms was a challenge. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up into a world that revolved around traveling because her father was a traveling salesman. When she was ten years old, she'd lived at New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea got her agent while in San Diego, where she was the first to win a part in which she auditioned. Fusco was in favor of the idea saying, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." NBC cautioned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking alcohol in front of kids because it's unwise. Fusco thought ALF was able to drink alcohol when he was an adult. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was treated successfully and continued to be in remission through the year 2019. The cancer ended his life on the 26th of June, 2019, at 75 years old. He died at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
