Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and performer most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl was brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl spent the majority of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie and her polio-infected sister. When she was growing up, there were many arguments with her mom. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father for becoming too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However, her love for comedy was always there. She was the sole female that made it to the contest in 1989.
